Three-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "ALBANY.NY," third quarter 19th century, cylindrical crock with semi-rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a boldly slip-trailed design of a flowering plant with spotted interior, flanked by two smaller blossoms. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. Provenance: William Bouck Collection. Staining and a few minor in-the-firing iron pings to surface. H 9 3/4".
