Unusual Stoneware Canning Jar with Cobalt Foliate Decoration, WV or Western PA origin, circa 1875, cylindrical jar with flattened "wax sealer" rim, brush-decorated with a three-stemmed plant featuring striped outer stems emanating from a stylized ground. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 8 1/8".
