One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Presentation Jug, Inscribed "Lucy," Stamped "S. HART," Fulton, NY, third quarter 19th century, squat-shaped, ovoid jug with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded spout, decorated with the slip-trailed cobalt name, "Lucy." Slip-trailed line through maker's mark at shoulder. Essentially as-made condition with some mottling to clay and small in-the-firing surface flaws. H 10 3/4".
