Rare Rockingham-Glazed Molded Stoneware Grapes Pitcher, Stamped "S. RISLEY / NORWICH / 3," CT origin, circa 1850-1875, molded ovoid pitcher with ribbed body, relief grapevine pattern around midsection, and twig-form, spurred handle, the surface covered in a mottled reddish-brown glaze over a lighter ground. Some small, hand-incised details to decoration. Underside impressed with Sidney Risley maker's mark along with the number, "3." Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 6 5/8".
