Fine One-Gallon Iron-Decorated Stoneware Jug, Stamped "BOSTON.," Frederick Carpenter, Charlestown, MA, early 19th century, highly-ovoid jug with dentile coggling to shoulder, heavily-tooled neck, and squared mouth, decorated with dipped iron slip decoration to the upper and lower body. Excellent condition with some minor chipping to spout and some typical in-the-firing contact marks to body and handle. H 11".
