Two Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, Northeastern U.S. origin, circa 1875, a five-gallon churn with slip-trailed floral motif, stamped "J.S. TAFT & COMPANY / KEENE, N.H.;" paired with a three-gallon crock with stylized slip-trailed floral motif. Churn with two large rim chips, two cracks from rim, smaller chips to interior of rim, wear to inner rim for lid, spider crack in underside, and some exfoliation to front. Other crock with a minor nick to proper left handle, some staining, and light bubbling to cobalt. H (of churn) 15 1/2".
