Two One-Gallon Stoneware Jars with Cobalt Floral Decoration, NY State origin, second or third quarter 19th century, both of ovoid form with brushed floral motifs, one stamped "M. TYLER / ALBANY," the other stamped "WM.E.WARNER / WEST TROY." Provenance: William Bouck Collection. Tyler jar with a 7/8" in-the-firing base flake on reverse, some shallow in-the-firing chipping at base, some minor in-the-firing flaws to surface, and some minor nicks to interior of rim. Warner jar in excellent condition with a minor in-the-firing ping near base on reverse and some light staining. H (of Tyler jar) 9".
