Three Stoneware Stump-Form Planters, F.B. Norton & Co., Worcester, MA, circa 1858-1877, each molded in the form of tree stump with ivy, coated in an Albany slip and covered in a clear salt glaze. The two larger examples bear "F.B. NORTON & CO. / WORCESTER, MA" maker's marks on underside and include green accents to the ivy. Largest with a large area of restoration to rim and unrestored chips to openings. Middle-sized planter with chips to openings. Smallest in excellent condition. H (of tallest) 13 3/8".
