One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar with Stenciled Leaf Motifs, Stenciled "J. HAMILTON / & CO. / GREENSBORO / PA.", circa 1875, semi-ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and semi-squared rim, decorated with several stenciled leaf designs surrounding the maker's stenciling. Some wear to stenciling. A shallow 3/4" chip to interior of rim. Very minor base wear.
