One-and-a-Half-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stamped "J. SWANK & CO / JOHNSTOWN.PA," circa 1860, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and flared collar, brush-decorated with large swags around the shoulder. A jagged crack descending 5 1/2" from rim, including a 1 1/2" filled rim chip. A 1 1/8" rim chip. A 5 1/4" inverted Y-shaped line to body. H 11 1/2".
