One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1860, ovoid pitcher with footed base and tooled collar, brush-decorated with a hanging flower flanked by swags. Additional swag decoration to collar and flanking the spout. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Provenance: From a forty-five-year VA collection. A 3 3/4" diagonal line to collar. A 1 1/4" vertical surface line to interior of rim, not visible on exterior. Minor spout wear. H 11".
