Glazed Redware Flowerpot, Stamped "JOHN W. BELL / Waynesboro, Pa," late 19th century, flaring form with semi-rounded rim and attached saucer with footed base, decorated with streaked manganese over a yellowish ground and covered in a heavy lead glaze. Underside impressed with John W. Bell maker's mark. Provenance: From a forty-five-year VA collection. A 3/4" reglued chip to saucer including a small chip to its left and right. Otherwise excellent condition. H 5 3/4" ; Diam. (at rim) 6 1/2".
