Rare Three-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "C,F,ORCUTT.&,CO. / ALBANY, NY," mid 19th century, cylindrical crock with semi-rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed floral motif with looping line below, accented with scrollwork and dots. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and three-gallon capacity mark. Faint black initials on underside, "R.V.V.," likely from the period of the crock. A 1" flake and two tiny nicks to interior of rim. Light water glass staining to interior. A small chip and minor nicks to right handle. A faint 6" cross-shaped line to reverse, not visible on interior. Staining to surface. H 9 3/4".
