One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stamped "J. CLARK & CO / TROY," NY State origin, circa 1826-1828, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, flaring collar, and applied lug handles, brush-decorated with a stylized foliate motif. Cobalt highlights to the maker's mark and handle terminals. Provenance: William Bouck Collection. Rim chips and minor staining. H 9 3/4".
