One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "THOMPSON / WILLIAMS / & CO. / MORGANTOWN / W. VA.," circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, featuring Thompson, Williams & Co. maker's stenciling between two freehand stripes. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with some minor in-the-firing surface fissures to underside, not visible on interior. H 10".
