Miniature Salt-Glaze Stoneware Jug with Painted Decoration, Inscribed "Johnstown / May 31, 1889," attributed to the Swank Pottery, Johnstown, PA, 1889, ovoid jug with flared spout, decorated with a painted scene of catttails and flowers over a light-brown, salt-glazed ground. Underside with painted inscription, "Johnstown / May 31, 1889." Wear to paint. Otherwise excellent condition. H 3 1/2".
