Three-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Parrot Decoration, Stamped "F.B. NORTON & CO / WORCESTER, MASS.," circa 1858-1877, cylindrical crock with semi-rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a crested parrot perched on a leaf with spotted details to the bird's tail and end of the leaf. Cobalt accents to maker's mark and capacity mark. Very nice condition. Water glass staining to exterior and interior. Two small chips to proper right handle. H 10 3/8".
