Three-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Parrot Decoration, Stamped "F.B. NORTON & CO / WORCESTER MASS," circa 1858-1877, cylindrical jug with semi-rounded spout, decorated with a plumed parrot perched in the crook of a tree branch with looping flourish. Very nice condition. A minor chip to interior of spout. Staining to surface. A 2" in-the-firing chipped section to underside along edge. H 15 1/2".
