Manganese-Decorated Redware Jar, attributed to S. Bell & Sons or J. Eberly & Co., Strasburg, VA, circa 1890, ovoid jar with semi-rounded rim, decorated with splashed manganese and covered in clear lead glaze. Lead-and-manganese-glazed interior. Jar is out-of-round. Wear to interior of rim and interior base. Light wear to exterior. H 8 1/4".
