Glazed Redware Mug, Stamped "JOHN BELL," Waynesboro, PA origin, circa 1840-1880, cylindrical mug with footed base, tooled rim, and grooved handle, the surface decorated with heavy manganese sponging over a yellowish ground and covered in a clear lead glaze. Provenance: From a forty-five-year VA collection. Very nice condition with two minor chips to interior of rim. H 3 7/8".
