Unusual Brown-Glazed Stoneware Vase, Inscribed "William W. Cline / Hartford / Indiana / July 26th 1906 / 1906," ovoid-bellied vase with tall collar, the surface covered in a brown Albany-slip-type glaze. Underside incised with William Washington Cline signature. A circular in-the-firing contact mark to underside. Some bubbling to glaze at base. Minor rim chips. H 8 3/8".
