Diminutive Glazed Redware Spittoon, PA origin, circa 1850-1880, cylindrical form with flared base, recessed circular opening in top, and incised wavy line decoration to top edge, the surface covered in a clear lead glaze over a light-orange ground with subtle manganese accents. Some wear to shoulder, rim area, and bottom edge. H 2 1/8" ; Diam. 4 1/2".
