Tanware Pitcher, New Geneva or Greensboro, PA origin, circa 1885, ovoid pitcher with stylishly-turned, flaring collar, brush-decorated in Albany slip around the body with a tulip emanating from a curving stem. Dash decoration to collar, drape decoration to rim, and stripe decoration to base of collar and pitcher. Handle decorated with Albany slip stripes and highlights to the terminals. Provenance: Crocker Farm, Inc., May 20, 2006, lot 273. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 5 3/4".
