Large-Sized Glazed Figure of a Rooster, Signed and Dated "Roger Corn/ Barks County / Ga / 2001," Lula, GA origin, 2001, wheel-thrown and hand-modeled figure of a rooster of stylized form with serrated comb and tail and incised feathering throughout, the surface covered in red and brown glazes. Incised Roger Corn signature and date on underside. Additionally incised on reverse of base "Rooster / by / Roger Corn / Lula / Ga." Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 22 3/4".
