Two Quart-Sized Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jars, Chester County, PA origin, circa 1850-1880, both of cylindrical form, an earlier jar with brushed swag-and-hanging-flower motif around shoulder, and a later unmarked R.J. Grier jar with swag motif around shoulder. Floral jar with shallow base chips. Other jar in excellent, essentially as-made condition. H (of each) approx. 6 1/2".
