Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jug with Applied Grapes Motif, Signed and Dated "Michael Crocker / 2011," Lula, GA origin, 2011, ovoid jug with two applied strap handles, decorated with two hand-modeled grapes motifs, highlighted in cobalt slip and applied against a gray-green alkaline-glazed ground. Michael Crocker signature and date incised on underside. Provenance: Carl and Marian Mullis Collection; On long-term loan to Colonial Williamsburg, 2019 to 2023. Excellent condition.
