Miniature Glazed Redware Figure of a Spaniel, attributed to John Bell, Waynesboro, PA, circa 1850-1880, molded figure of a seated spaniel with hollowed underside, the surface covered in a heavy lead-and-manganese glaze. Provenance: From a forty-year private collection. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with two in-the-firing kiln scars to underside. H 3 1/2".
