One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, New England origin, third quarter 19th century, cylindrical jar with flared rim and applied lug handles, decorated with an abstract slip-trailed floral motif. Rim chips, one of which occurred in the firing. Coloring to chips along inner rim for lid. A minor in-the-firing iron ping at base on reverse. H 9".
