Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Presentation Mug, Incised "A Murphy," American, fourth quarter 19th century, cylindrical mug with molded, spurred handle, decorated with incised and cobalt-highlighted banding around the body, the incised and cobalt-highlighted name, "A Murphy," and brushed cobalt highlights to the handle terminals. A minor nick top of rim. A minor filled nick to exterior of rim. A minor glazed-over base chip. H 5 7/8".
