Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Bank, Northeastern U.S. origin, circa 1830, ovoid form with dramatic, stepped finial and vertically-carved slot, brush-decorated with drape, floral, and spot motifs around the shoulder. Spot decoration flanking the slot. Cobalt highlight to finial. Excellent condition, the slot with a small, shallow flake and very minor wear. H 4 1/2".
