Glazed Stoneware Chicken Waterer with Relief Bird Motif, Embossed "MANF.D,BY.THE W.R.&.CO.AKRON.O. PAT.D.APR.1.1885," OH origin, late 19th century, cylindrical form resting on two feet with trough at front and relief decoration of two birds above. Embossed signature around front edge. Surface covered in a light-brown glaze. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. L 7" ; H 6 1/2".
