One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "THOMPSON / WILLIAMS / & CO. / MORGANTOWN / W. VA.," circa 1875, semi-ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, featuring Thompson, Williams, and Company maker's stenciling between two freehand stripes. Two shallow chips to interior of rim. Some faintness to stenciling. H 10".
