Three Small-Sized Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Crocks, Northeastern U.S. origin, second half 19th century, all of cylindrical, handled form, one with slip-trailed looping line, stamped "CORTLAND," NY State origin, circa 1867-1869; one with slip-trailed bird-on-branch motif, attributed to W. Roberts, Binghamton, NY, circa 1870; one with slip-trailed leaf, stamped "E. & L.P. NORTON / BENNINGTON VT.," circa 1870. Cortland crock with bubbling to cobalt and some staining. Bird crock with a 4 1/2" vertical line to reverse and staining. Norton crock with a top-to-bottom crack from rim, cracks to base area on side/reverse, staining, and a rim chip. H (of Cortland crock) 7 1/2".
