Two Cobalt-Banded Stoneware Mugs, New York City origin, second half 19th century, each with pewter lids likely made by pewter smith, Frederick Heyde. Both in excellent, essentially as-made condition, one with a very shallow, 1 1/8" in-the-firing flake to top of rim. H (including lids) 5 1/4".
