Rare Small-Sized Multi-Glazed Redware Canister, attributed to J. Eberly & Co., Strasburg, VA, circa 1890, flare-bodied form with footed base, tapered shoulder, and semi-rounded rim, the surface decorated in mottled green, brown, and cream under a clear lead glaze. Wear to top of rim and interior shoulder. Some light wear to exterior surface and bottom edge. A thin 1 3/8" sliver of adhered clay near base. H 4 3/8".
