Three-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Chicken Pecking Corn Decoration, attributed to Brady & Ryan, Ellenville, NY, circa 1885, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded, and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a chicken pecking kernels of corn from a stylized ground. One handle missing. Exfoliation to same side of crock. Some staining. A 6 1/2" hairline descending from rim to shoulder. H 10 1/2".
