Rustic Stoneware Harvest Jug, attributed to the Evans Pottery, Dexter, MO, late 19th or early 20th century, ovoid form with applied wide and narrow pouring spouts and large vertical handle on reverse, the surface with profuse sawtooth incising designed to resemble tree bark. Front decorated with an applied diagonal banner featuring hand-modeled flowers at each end. Surface covered in a brown Albany slip glaze with lighter, glossy mottling throughout. Very nice condition with small chips to flowers. H 9 1/2".
