One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Abial Price, Middletown Point, NJ, circa 1840, vasiform ovoid jar with applied lug handles and tooling to shoulder and rim, decorated on one side with a brushed "1" flanked by flowers and on the reverse with a distinctive Price floral motif. Excellent condition with a tiny nick to midsection and some light staining. H 9 3/4".
