Two Pieces of NY State Stoneware, 19th century, a two-gallon jar with three slip-trailed plants emanating from a stylized ground, stamped "N. CLARK JR ATHENS NY," mid 19th century; paired with a two-gallon cylindrical crock with slip-trailed leaf motif, stamped "WHITES.UTICA.N.Y.," circa 1865. Clark jar with a 6 1/4" x 6 1/4" reglued section on reverse, a 2 1/4" flake to underside, and some in-the-firing chipping to base. Whites crock with a 1 1/4" rim chip. H (of taller) 9 5/8".
