Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Snake Pitcher, Stamped "B.B. CRAIG / VALE, N.C.," early fourth quarter 20th century, ovoid pitcher with heavily-tooled midsection and flared collar, decorated around the body with an applied snake including kaolin eyes. Underside impressed with Burlon B. Craig maker's mark. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 11".
