Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "T. HARRINGTON / LYONS," NY State origin, circa 1860, ovoid jug with semi-squared spout, decorated with a brushed cobalt tulip plant beside the number, "2." Cobalt highlights to maker's mark. A glazed-over 7/8" iron ping to side of spout with a short line extending through it. A minor nick to interior of spout. A small, in-the-firing chip to exterior edge of spout. An in-the-firing iron ping to underside of handle. Some staining and residue from use to surface. H 13 1/2".
