Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Henry H. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1830, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and rounded rim, decorated around the midsection with boldly-brushed stem bearing swags and clovers. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with some light bubbling to cobalt and minor traces of old white paint. H 13".
