Three Pieces of Politically-Themed Pottery, late 19th century, an unusual Rockingham-glazed teapot with lid and embossed image of Lady Liberty surrounded by star, inscribed "LIBERTY," impressed "T" on underside; a molded stoneware Revolutionary War pitcher with militia band and Benjamin Franklin bust, attributed to the White's Pottery, Utica, NY; and a shaving mug with gold inscription, "Rough and / Ready," probably German origin, stamped "N" on underside, the slogan referencing rough rider and future president, Theodore Roosevelt. Teapot with staining and tight cracks to base area, including one crack extending a few inches up body of teapot. Pitcher with spout chips. Mug in excellent condition. H (of mug) 3 1/4" ; H (of pitcher) 8 1/2".
