One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to R.J. Grier, Chester County, PA origin, circa 1870, ovoid pitcher with footed base, tooled collar, and semi-rounded rim, decorated with a brushed, double-stemmed tulip motif. Swag decoration to collar and spout. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. A thin 3 1/4" crack from rim on side of pitcher. A restored 4" section to base on front. H 10 3/4".
