Four-Gallon Stoneware Churn with Cobalt Banding, Stamped "WHITES.UTICA.NY," circa 1875, semi-ovoid churn with flared collar and applied lug handles, decorated throughout with incised banding highlighted in slip-trailed cobalt. Includes original Albany-slip-glazed lid. Churn in excellent condition with minor nicks and wear to inner rim for lid and light traces of old red paint. Chips to lid. H (excluding lid) 16 3/4".
