Rare Multi-Glazed Redware Cup, attributed to J. Eberly & Co., Strasburg, VA, circa 1890, flaring cup with footed base, the surface dipped in cream-colored slip, decorated with splashes of copper and manganese, and covered in a clear lead glaze. Rare form with excellent color. Four thin cracks from rim, measuring 2 1/4" to 2 3/4". In-the-firing unglazed contact marks to top of rim. H 4".
