Rare Large-Sized Stoneware Milk Pan with Alkaline Glaze, Signed "Lanier Meaders," Cleveland, GA, circa 1965-1980, tapered pan with tooled shoulder, applied tab handles, and pointed pouring spout, the surface covered in an olive-green alkaline glaze with brushed cobalt highlight to rim and darker glaze to the handles. Heavy glaze pooling to the interior base. Underside incised with Lanier Meaders signature. Provenance: Collection of Dr. John A. Burrison, Atlanta, GA; on loan to the Atlanta History Center, Atlanta, GA since 1981. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 6 3/8" ; Diam. 13 1/8".
