Three Pieces of Alexandria, VA Stoneware, circa 1860, a one-gallon jar, stamped "E.J. MILLER / ALEXA;" a one-and-a-half-gallon jar, stamped "S.C. MILBURN.;" and a three-gallon jar, stamped "S.C. MILBURN" and "E.J. MILLER / ALEXA." with wooden lid. Provenance: Suzita Cecil Myers Collection. E.J. Miller jar with a thin crack on one side and a base chip. S.C. Milburn jar with a crack to underside, extending several inches up body of jar, as well as in-the-firing contact marks, a small rim chip, and a small base chip. Three-gallon jar with loss to one handle, heavy chipping to opposite handle, and small chips to interior of rim. H (of tallest) 12 1/2".
