Celadon-Glazed Stoneware Canning Jug, Stamped "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO'," PA origin, circa 1850-1880, semi-ovoid form with wide, threaded mouth, the surface covered in a gray-green celadon glaze. Sponged manganese to interior. Professionally-restored handle. Otherwise excellent condition. H 9 1/2".
