Very Rare Pair of Glazed Redware Bear Figures, Incised "AM / 83," Arie Meaders, Cleveland, GA, 1983, hand-modeled figures of seated bears with craned necks, outstretched arms, and white-glazed surfaces. Hollowed interiors, each incised at base "A.M. 83." Taller bear with chip to one ear and minor base chipping. Shorter bear with a small in-the-firing lime ping near base on reverse and some minor base wear. H (of taller) 5 3/4".
